Job Summary
Join a dynamic team as a Litigation Associate in the heart of Cleveland where you will engage in stimulating commercial litigation work. We are seeking a mid-level associate with a robust background in financial services securities and complex financial transactions to contribute to our Litigation Practice Group. This position offers a hybrid work option combining both remote and in-office work for optimal flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the strategic management and day-to-day tasks of case handling from inception to trial preparation.
- Lead cases through discovery phases including attending depositions settlement conferences and hearings.
- Draft and prepare motions discovery responses and comprehensive client reports.
- Contribute to trial preparation efforts encompassing strategy development records review client and witness interviews.
Qualifications:
- Possession of an Ohio law license is required.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in litigation practice with a strong preference for candidates familiar with bankruptcy and creditors rights.
- Demonstrated experience in taking and defending depositions.
- Exemplary analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
