Job Summary:

Follow lesson plans assignments and instructional materials.
Maintains order and discipline in the classroom conducive to effective learning.
Takes all necessary safety precautions to protect students equipment materials and facilities.
Creates a classroom environment that provides for student involvement in the learning process.
Enables each student to achieve learning objectives.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The minimum qualification is a High School Diploma.
Ability to speak and write effectively and correctly.
Indications of excellent human relations skills.
Ability to pass a background screening and Maryland HB486 Background Check Screening.

Pay Rates:

Daily rates:

Non-Degree - $105/day 4-year Degree - $130/day. MD Certified - $140.00/day

Long-Term Rates (Assignment for more than 6 days):

Non-Degree - $125.00/day. 4-year Degree - $150.00/ day. MD Certified - $160.00/ day

*Eligible to accrue Sick & Safe Leave

*For long-term assignments in our Title I Elementary Schools we look for MD Certification initially.
