Job Summary
Supply Data and Technology is part of Supply Chain this team we are working to manage the Ivalua platforms. The platform hosts the processes and solutions to support throughout the whole life cycle partnership with a supplier from potential cooperation to the end of joint business. Our support covering IT tools and adaptation to legal compliance as well as our own rules and regulations is directed to all IKEA supply units.
This role includes essential duties and responsibilities:
- In collaboration with stakeholders bring ideas or business needs into business value through solutions.
- Understand the digital products overall application portfolio business priorities and success measures to design robust architecture and solutions.
- Proactively identify and advise on opportunities to deliver better business results (e.g. related to technological trends and players roadmaps customer value cost benefits impact risks dependencies).
- Secure develop and review high-level design to support running business and provide guidance towards service improvements and service transition.
- Collaborate with other Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects ensuring that the product/platform adheres to the Technology Architecture.
- Communicate the solution architectures and transition roadmaps to relevant internal and external stakeholders within and across organization(s).
- Govern and seek understanding agreement to ensure aligned and consistent solution implementations across IKEA.
- Support and be part of projects initiatives and take responsibility for securing IKEAs architecture vision and goals.
- In a close dialog with stakeholders create and shape business and IT-related ideas into current state future state and transition states to guide the detailed design and delivery of solutions.
- Design review and approve the integration designs for integrating the Ivalua platform to rest of the IKEA systems
- Participating and recommending options for performance improvements on the platform
- Document and maintain artefacts related to system design and design decisions
- Is responsible for securing the architecture vision and goals of the Ivalua platform in the solution architecture and the system development process

To be successful in this role we believe you must have:
- A solid development background and understanding the Software development processes and of solution architecture concepts.
- Working experience on Web technology Cloud platform and SaaS solutions.
- Knowledge of data integration approaches like ODI Kafka MFT and API.
- Practical experience working in Agile and DevOps.
- A passion about technological trends & constantly keeps you updated in how new technology can be utilized to bring value to a modern enterprise system landscape.
- Good understanding about system integrations and can discuss technical interfaces on the needed detail level.
- Excellent analytical skills and apply a systematic approach to think through end-to-end solution architecture encompassing all necessary solution components.
- Strong competence of SQL Server development.
- Strong stakeholders management skills.
- Experience from global implementation projects or larger solutions/platforms.
- Working experience in procurement products or software would be an advantage.
- Strong competence and knowhow in the digital platform Ivalua (S2P and L3 certified)
- Experienced in using models methods and tools within analysis and design and have good knowledge of general IT frames e.g. standards infrastructure and platforms frameworks development concepts and processes.
You should be able to make advanced technical solutions understood and embraced by both technical and non-technical co-workers.
