Job Summary
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain repair and install electrical systems including circuits fixtures and equipment throughout the property.
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using test equipment and perform necessary repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards including fire alarm systems and electrical codes.
- Coordinate with all departments to maximise productivity and guest service.
- Manage and develop the electrical team providing support and motivation.
- Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment optimising resource utilisation.
- Stay updated on the propertys electrical system including current loads and potential limits for new installations.
Other Responsibilities
- Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
- Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times
- Attend all briefings meetings and trainings as assigned by management
- Report for duty on time wearing clean and complete uniform at all times
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel
Qualifications :
- Secondary / High school education
- Trade Certificate or a minimum of 1 year of relevant hands on experience in area of expertise
- Good reading and oral proficiency in English language
