- Continuously evaluating the possibility of better accuracy and calculation time based on new test data and software as well as process improvements driving method development together with your team and/or external suppliers.
- Supporting CFD calculations in the area of traction batteries with a focus on thermal conditioning to increase performance.
- Optimizing components based on test and calculation results to improve the batterys service life efficiency and performance.
- Supporting component validation using simulation.
- Coordinating between simulation testing and design.

- Experience in performing CFD calculations particularly solving kinetic and thermal problems and a combination of these.
- In-depth knowledge of the calculation of thermodynamic processes.
- Relevant experience in 3D CFD with common CFD processors preferably Ansa and Siemens Star CCM.
- Very good theoretical and practical knowledge of the components of electrified powertrain systems especially the design of traction battery systems.
- Advanced German as well as English skills required for international cooperation.
