Manager Data Architecture

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:
Manage data architecture projects and teams ensuring project objectives and timelines are met.
Collaborate with data architects and analysts to implement data solutions utilizing best practices.
Participate in defining data requirements and contributing to the development of data strategies.
Implement data governance and quality standards to maintain data accuracy.
Support the development of data roadmaps ensuring adherence to data standards.
Assist in mentoring and guiding junior staff in data architecture best practices.
Contribute to data security initiatives and data compliance efforts.
Provide regular updates on project progress and issues to senior management.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically 7 years of relevant work experience in industry with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
Proven experience in data architecture and management
Proficiencies in data modeling data warehousing ETL processes and database technologies
Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
Relevant certifications such as TOGAF CDMP or similar are a plus
