This role is based in Farnborough Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: 27000 (plus up to 150/month commission) bonus
About the role:
You will be a key member of the Customer Service team providing flight ticketing and reservations support to our customers and sales team. This involves booking of flight routes in our GDS system (we use Travelport) flight ticketing amendments and operational addition to supporting the sales team you will also support the on tour and duty team dealing with customers who are currently travelling and may need flight assistance. Key responsibilities:
- Managing PNRs within the GDS including queue management ticketing reissues and schedule changes.
- Support the Sales team with complex flight requirements.
- Making air reservations in Travelport/Galileo.
- Making low cost carrier reservations.
- Support our teams (based in the UK Toronto and Brisbane) with flight related queries in person through messaging tasks or email.
- Liaising with customers regarding flight queries.
- Support the operations team with duty flight issues.
- Handling various administration tasks including tour cancellations.
- Developing and delivering GDS training for flights and sales team.
- Ensuring a customer focused approach is adopted in all assigned responsibilities.
- A flexible attitude in the undertaking of all tasks is paramount.
Working hours will include 1 Saturday in 3 with a lieu day off in the week and on call cover on Sundays on a rota basis between the team.
