Senior Piping Engineer Egypt

ISS International S.p.A. is looking for a Senior Piping Engineer to be involved in an onshore Oil & Gas project in Cairo Egypt.

The role focuses on safeguarding key technical knowledge for the Piping discipline leading engineering development from Conceptual phase through Project handover and ensuring technical quality and alignment across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and update Piping (Pipeline preferred) engineering deliverables ensuring quality of Contractor documentation (GA drawings isometrics 3D models line lists stress reports routing alignment sheets MTO etc.)
• Participate in design and safety reviews (3D Model Review HAZID HAZOP)
• Manage multidisciplinary coordination with Engineering Construction Commissioning Quality Inspection and Operations
• Support field engineering conduct site visits define technical solutions and resolve site queries
• Review vendor documentation technical bids and material availability; support procurement and invoice validation
• Ensure technical consistency across disciplines and compliance with project standards and applicable codes
• Support piping prerequisites ahead of site execution and prepare marked-up drawings for modifications

Requirements:

• Degree in Piping or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Minimum 10 years of Onshore/Offshore Piping Engineering experience
• Proven expertise in pipeline engineering (preferred)
• Strong background in 3D modelling routing support design stress analysis MTO and material selection
• Familiarity with international standards (ASME B31.3 B31.4 B31.8 API etc.)
• Proficient in reading P&IDs PFDs and performing/interpreting stress analysis
• Software knowledge: AutoCAD Navisworks Microsoft Project Caesar II (or similar)
• Fluent in English
• Previous experience in full project lifecycle from design to startup and handover
• Strong coordination skills with Contractors Vendors Construction Commissioning and Operations
• Results-driven with problem-solving attitude and strong communication skills
