About our client

Our client is a mid-sized data-driven marketing agency thats been delivering results for over a decade. With a solid technical foundation and advanced CRM capability they help leading brands make smarter insight-led marketing decisions. Theyre now looking for a Consumer Insights & Personalisation Lead to drive customer understanding and personalisation strategies across multiple touchpoints.


What the job involves

  • Turning customer and market data into actionable insights that shape marketing content and product strategy

  • Leading consumer research programmes (quantitative qualitative and behavioural) to uncover motivations and unmet needs

  • Owning the voice-of-the-customer programme (surveys NPS focus groups)

  • Developing advanced audience segmentation models using demographic behavioural and psychographic data

  • Collaborating with Data Science and Analytics teams to interpret insights on lifetime value churn and attribution

  • Building and leading personalisation strategies across web app email and media channels

  • Championing a test-and-learn culture through experimentation A/B and multivariate testing

  • Working closely with IT and Martech stakeholders to integrate CDP DMP and CRM systems for real-time personalisation

  • Leading and mentoring a cross-functional team of analysts researchers and personalisation specialists

  • Presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to shape company direction

What you need to be considered

  • 7 years of experience in consumer insights marketing analytics personalisation or a related field

  • Proven track record of building and scaling insight or personalisation programmes in a data-rich environment

  • Deep understanding of research methodologies segmentation and behavioural analytics

  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics Adobe Analytics Tableau SQL Salesforce and CDPs (e.g. Segment mParticle)

  • Strong strategic thinker who can translate data into business value

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within cross-functional or matrixed environments

Bonus points if you

  • Hold an advanced degree in Marketing Behavioural Science or Data Science

  • Bring experience from retail eCommerce digital media or DTC sectors

  • Understand machine learning concepts and predictive modelling

  • Are familiar with personalisation platforms such as Adobe Target Dynamic Yield or Optimizely
