Job Summary
A leading food company situated in Alberton Gauteng is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Warehouse Manager (cold chain) to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Full leadership management and cost control of 3 shifts to deliver the business results
- Full stock control always ensuring stock integrity
- Correct operation ensuring maintenance are done and cover working of all MHE
- Correct loading and off-loading of all vehicles
- Correct operation and Maintenance of Docks and Freezer equipment
- Adherence to Safety standards and operating procedures
- Managing of all staff (leave absenteeism etc.) and allocating of staff to complete workload
- Communication with internal and external clients
- Control of pallet movement
- Control of bulk crate movement
- Storage efficiencies
- Transfer efficiencies
- Stock movement recorded accurately
Requirements
- Relevant qualification at NQF 6 Level (Warehouse Management Supply Chain Management)
- At least 5 years Cold Store Warehouse experience and distribution experience at managerial level
- Cold chain management experience in the FMCG sector is an added advantage
- Required to work shifts and weekends when needed
