Commercial Lines Account Manager (Remote)
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join the close-knit family-owned insurance agency. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that values collaboration and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage a diverse book of business. Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $75000 - $85000 (higher compensation available for candidates not requiring benefits)
Responsibilities
- Manage a $1M book of business focusing on small to mid-sized accounts (up to $400K in premium).
- Service accounts across various industries including construction hospitality real estate and parking garages.
- Handle renewals endorsements certificates and other client service needs.
- Occasionally assist with marketing efforts for new business opportunities.
- Work with top carriers such as Travelers Hartford and Chubb to provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Utilize the EPIC agency management system to maintain accurate records and streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with producers and other team members to ensure high client retention (94-95% retention rate).
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines account management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC agency management system is a must.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with lines of coverage such as workers compensation general liability commercial auto and management liability.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Preferred: Experience with the California insurance market and industries such as construction hospitality and real estate.
