Job Description
Quality Assurance / QATechnician / Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Technician to join a leading manufacturer based in Norwich.
This Quality Engineer will be responsible for the inspection of machined components compiling FAIR reports and ensuring a good standard of work is being carried out on the floor. Youll play a key part in ensuring components meet specification through inspection and reporting contributing directly to product excellence and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience within a similar Quality Assurance role demonstrable tenure and live within a commutable distance to Norwich.
Quality Assurance / QATechnician / Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Technician Package
- Salary up to 32000 per annum (depending on experience)
- 39 hours per week: MondayThursday 7:3016:00 Friday 7:3015:00
- 25 days holiday bank holidays
- Additional Christmas shutdown (varies annually)
Quality Assurance / QATechnician / Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Technician Role
- Perform 1st-off and last-off inspections on machined components
- Conduct roving inspections on in-process parts to maintain consistent quality levels
- Ensuring ISO 9001 standards are met
- Produce and maintain FAIR (First Article Inspection Reports) and related documentation
- Work closely under the QA Manager supporting day-to-day quality activities and improvements
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements
Quality Assurance / QATechnician / Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Technician Requirements
- Previous experience in quality inspection or assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ISO 9001 standards
- Relevant qualiy qualification would be beneficial
- Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and reporting
- Commutable distance to Norwich
