LINCOLN - SUDBURY REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT390 LINCOLN ROADSUDBURY MA 01776EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY2025-2026 SCHOOL YEARJOB POSTINGTitle: Long-Term Substitute History Teacher (one block per school day)Position Summary: Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School District seeks a qualified History Teacher to cover a leave of absence effective immediately through April 2 2026. Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):*Teach one block per day (block 6)*Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community*Plans lessons that meet the individual needs interests and abilities of the students*Creates a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior*Provides timely and appropriate feedback to students with progress reports as needed*Communicates with caregivers to discuss student progress*Pursues professional growth through activities in and out of school*Cooperates with other professional staff in supporting student learning*All other duties as :*Bachelors degree required Masters degree preferred from an accredited college or university*Licensed or eligible for licensure in the appropriate field by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education to include Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsementExperience Preferred:*3 years educational teaching environment preferred*High School teaching experience preferredSalary: *$25 Short Block/$30 Long BlockLincoln-Sudbury Regional High School is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free from discrimination on the basis of race color religion national origin pregnancy gender identity sexual orientation marital/civil union status ancestry place of birth age citizenship status veteran status political affiliation genetic information or disability as defined and required by state and federal laws.
