Woodstock Union Middle/High School is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Part-Time French Teacher to join our highly engaged World Languages department! This is an exciting opportunity to begin immediately and teach a comprehensive 712 curriculum spanning all ability levels from novice to advanced.
Focus on Proficiency and Collaboration
We are looking for a colleague eager to continue our practice of creating engaging inviting and lively lessons. The successful candidate will be deeply familiar with and committed to:
Proficiency-Based Instruction and Grading.
Creating standards-based units tied to the ACTFL World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages.
Developing and maintaining a safe respectful and engaging learning environment.
Furthermore the ideal candidate is enthusiastic about contributing to our thriving international exchange and travel programs.
What Were Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
Hold or be eligible to hold a Vermont Educator License with an appropriate World Language endorsement.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to equity diversity and inclusion in education.
Possess excellent interpersonal communication time management and collaboration skills.
Utilize data-driven decision-making and integrate technology to support differentiated instruction.
Be committed to continuous professional growth and innovative educational practices.
