Job Description
As Program Manager- R&D Transformation & Productivity you will play a key role in supporting the execution of strategic transformation initiatives across the global R&D organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence monitor performance metrics and contribute to process improvement efforts that enhance speed quality and cost-effectiveness across the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Execution Support for Strategic Roadmaps
- Assist in translating strategic priorities into actionable execution plans across product development functions.
- Coordinate with cross-BU and functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of transformation initiatives.
Program Management & Process Enablement
- Support the Transformation Office in managing key initiatives tracking milestones and resolving execution bottlenecks.
- Help define and document micro-processes and interlocks across transformation work streams.
- Maintain dashboards and trackers for Key Activity Indicators (KAIs) and support performance reviews.
Governance & Reporting
- Prepare materials for monthly Leadership Council (LC) forums including progress updates insights and action item status.
- Collaborate with vertical and functional leads to gather data analyse gaps and propose corrective actions.
- Support audits and effectiveness assessments of newly implemented processes.
Value Measurement & Analytics
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of value apportionment frameworks.
- Analyse data to measure impact across speed capacity quality cost and capability dimensions.
- Generate insights and visualizations to support ROI narratives for transformation initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Liaise with process owners PMO and delivery leads to ensure clarity and alignment on transformation goals.
- Draft communication materials including presentations reports and transformation journey narratives.
External Benchmarking & Best Practices
- Conduct research and support benchmarking studies to identify industry best practices.
- Assist in synthesizing findings and recommending recalibrations to strategic priorities.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Skills
- MBA from tier 1 colleges with 4 to 8 years of experience in process improvement program management or operational excellence
- Certifications in Lean Six Sigma BB/MBB and other improvement methodology (TOC X Matrix etc.).
- Good understanding of Pharma Research & Development and Operational Excellence Framework
- Prior experiences in internal/external process benchmarking and implementing best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across organizational layers.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data generate insights and drive performance improvements.
