- Conduct research and desk-based cultural heritage studies
- Provide support in field surveys and assessments investigation and / or archaeological excavation
- Record and analyse site findings
- Prepare cultural heritage study reports
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or above in any discipline. Applicants with academic backgrounds in Archaeology Anthropology Architectural Conservation Classics Cultural Studies Fine Arts History Geography Journalism or Sociology will be given preference.
- 3 years of experience in conducting cultural heritage studies and surveys evaluating historic structures performing site recording and report preparation.
- Enthusiasm for cultural heritage issues and an understanding of the historical context of Hong Kong is preferred.
- Good skills in literature review investigations and interviews are advantageous
- A good team player with excellent capability to work independently
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Applicants with less experience may be considered for the Graduate Environmental Consultant or Assistant Environmental Consultant positions.
