Job Summary
We are currently seeking Corporate Paralegals to join our legal support team and provide support to our Fortune 500 clients. This role may require to work an on-site schedule in the Greater Toronto area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain corporate records board resolutions shareholder agreements and minute books to ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
- File incorporation documents corporate registrations and amendments with federal and provincial authorities.
- Assist with mergers acquisitions reorganizations and other corporate transactions including due diligence and document preparation.
- Monitor and ensure timely filing of annual returns corporate updates and statutory documents with government agencies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience of corporate or commercial law in Canadacorporate or commercial law experience preferably in-house with strong knowledge of corporate governance incorporations and statutory filings.
- Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
