Ecolab is currently seeking candidates for an Application Specialist role to support the Nalco Water Downstream business in Regina you are a passionate technical professional that likes to work in an autonomous hands-on environment we invite you to will be primarily responsible for working with Sales Representatives on executing service plans in strategic district will involve the completion of agreed-upon contractual services in your assigned accounts and providing customers with problem-solving will also assist District Sales Representatives with start-ups of both new applications in current customers and in transitioning competitively-held accounts. This position will also require you to build strong relationships with your assigned customer base to generate a high level of customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do:
- Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accountsto execute agreed upon customersystem assurance and continuous improvement plans.
- AssistSales Representatives with plant surveys of prospective customers.
- Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and new accounts.
- Develop strong relationships with the key stakeholders in the strategic district accounts where you provide service support to other District Sales Representatives.
- Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points escalating as required.
- Engage in problem-solvingby performing system analysis interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
- Supportservices include sample testing light maintenance customer service service report generation chemical ordering chemical inventory management general labor activities.
- Actively support innovations and technology in the strategicdistrict accounts where you provide your support to District Sales Representatives.
Position Details:
- This position will be based in Regina SK with travel to the surrounding areas
- 20% overnight travel may be required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Post Secondary diploma and 3 - 4 years related industry experience
- Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable motor vehicle record
- Able to travel to the US for training/meetings
- No immigration sponsorship is available for this position
Physical Demands:
- Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post Secondary diploma or degree in engineering or chemical technology
- 4 years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of and experience in materials scheduling and inventory processes
- Practical computer application literacy including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal business systems.
- Prior experience that required excellent communication skills a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask.
- Experience in oil and gas industry preferred
- Previous Refinery/Petrochemical experience
- Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
- Working knowledge of boilers cooling towers and wastewater treatment systems
