Job Title: Audiologist
Location: Woodbury NJ 08096
Compensation: Up to $2400
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Audiologist to provide comprehensive hearing care services to residents in a long-term care environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting regular hearing evaluations managing hearing aids and maintaining detailed documentation to ensure the highest standard of patient care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audiological screenings and evaluations for all residents.
Schedule and perform monthly visits to ensure each resident receives at least one annual hearing evaluation.
Provide timely emergency evaluations as required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation using SigmaCare or similar EHR systems.
Perform unlimited hearing aid adjustments and ensure all devices are functioning properly.
Communicate promptly with nursing staff regarding any changes in residents hearing care or services provided.
Ensure compliance with state local and federal regulations governing audiology services.
Submit and manage billing for Medicare Medicaid and private payers efficiently.
Provide valid state licensure and malpractice insurance documentation prior to service commencement.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1 year of audiology experience (experience in long-term care preferred).
Strong knowledge of audiological procedures assessments and hearing aid management.
Proficiency in SigmaCare or other electronic health record systems.
Excellent communication documentation and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with healthcare staff.
