This entry-level training position is designed forsomeone with some hotel (or similarindustry) or college hospitality this on-the-job trainingposition you will learn all the ins and outs of selling a full-service hotel.
Expectations: - Demonstrated sales ability
- Possess a Do it now and Yes I can approach
- Guest first approach
- Outgoing inquisitive personality
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated closing skills
Core Responsibilities: - Maintain Top Accounts
- Prospect business for the pipeline and hit list
- Direct Sales Calls in the market
- Handle Group Bookings & Inquiries
- Send out contracts to verify rooms and meeting space commitments
Qualifications: - Commensurate or transfer skill set is of primary importance.
- Bachelors degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management
- Good attitude and work ethic practices to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
- Operational/Service background or orientation
- Knowledge of Food and Beverage (catering)
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required
