The Public Schools of Brookline seek a qualified BCBA to work in our schools. Brookline is a dynamic and diverse community that promotes a culture of excellence. We have a continuum of services which includes systemwide programs for specific populations (e.g. students on the autism spectrum students with emotional disabilities and students with multiple disabilities). We seek candidates who work successfully as part of a team and who take a collaborative approach to providing intervention.
Specific responsibilities include:
- providing training and consultation to parents and guardians
- collaborating with school IEP teams to determine students needs and to address generalization of skills across settings conducting FBAs when appropriate
- developing behavior support plans
- consulting with one or more schools in Brookline regarding students behavioral needs
- developing data collection materials and analyzing data
- providing consultation and professional development to staff regarding best practices to promote positive behavior
This position will follow the teacher calendar and hours per day.
Required Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Massachusetts - Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) license required.
