Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Maryville TN 37804
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 312-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM 7:15 AM)
Compensation: $2073 Weekly Gross
Position Overview
The ER Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The role includes assessment triage intervention and evaluation of patients with urgent and emergent medical conditions. The nurse will work collaboratively with physicians technicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform rapid assessment and triage based on patient condition and acuity.
Provide emergency care interventions including medication administration IV access wound care stabilization and cardiac monitoring.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies appropriately.
Communicate effectively with physicians patients and family members.
Operate medical equipment and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Ensure compliance with safety infection control and clinical practice standards.
Support crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years recent ER nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
Required Certifications
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
CPI / MAB (Crisis Prevention Intervention or Management of Aggressive Behavior)
NIHSS (Stroke Certification)
