The Infant Teacher is responsible for providing a safe nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for infants (typically ages 6 weeks to 18 months). This role supports each childs physical emotional social and cognitive growth through responsive caregiving and engaging activities that promote early learning.
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of infants at all times.
Create and maintain a warm positive and nurturing classroom environment.
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and sensory-based activities that encourage exploration and development.
Support infants in reaching developmental milestones (such as crawling standing and first words).
Communicate daily with parents and guardians regarding each childs progress routines and needs.
Maintain accurate records of attendance diaper changes feedings and developmental observations.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain a clean organized and compliant classroom environment.
Follow all licensing regulations safety guidelines and center policies.
Attend staff meetings professional development sessions and training as required.
Compensation: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
