Shift: Day Shift 5 Days/Week 32-Hour Guarantee
Weekly Pay: $1138 (Gross Estimate)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week day shift assignment in Canon City CO. The ideal candidate will support physical therapists in providing high-quality rehabilitative care helping patients regain strength mobility and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists in carrying out prescribed treatment plans for patients.
Monitor and document patient progress adjusting therapy as needed under supervision.
Provide hands-on support in therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
Educate patients and families on techniques for continued recovery at home.
Ensure a clean safe and supportive environment for patients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Active Colorado PTA License (required).
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting (preferred).
Current BLS Certification (AHA preferred).
Excellent communication teamwork and patient care skills.
