How Youll Make an Impact

  • Design and implement advanced protection and control schemes for power systems.
  • Develop engineering documentation and specifications for substation automation projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet scope and deadlines.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve design challenges during project execution.
  • Engage with customers to optimize system performance and ensure satisfaction.
  • Support proposal development with technical input and cost recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for engineering processes and standards.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
    Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 1216 years of experience in protection and control engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of substation automation and grid protection systems.
  • Proficiency with industry standards and vendor technologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
    Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
