Gisborne Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to guide and inspire our dedicated team drive clinical excellence and help shape the future of our well-established mixed animal practice.
About the Role
This is a genuine leadership opportunity for a skilled clinician - ideally with a surgical focus - who thrives on variety and is passionate about delivering high-quality care across both small and/or large animal cases.
Beyond clinical expertise were looking for someone who can lead by example mentor developing vets and contribute strategically to the direction of the clinic and love what they do and have fun along the way with an awesome team around you!
Gisborne Vet Clinic:

Mixed caseload with up to 3 Vets on each day
Separate Cat & Dog waiting and consult rooms
We have Xray digital Xray digital dental Xray in-house lab ultrasound and endoscope if you have a specific interest or skill set we can look at providing equipment required

About You
A minimum of 5 years experience in veterinary practice with strong surgical and clinical capabilities
We are Ideally looking for mixed or just smallies focused Veterinary Surgeon
Confident and capable leader with a passion for mentoring and team development
Committed to delivering exceptional patient care and client service
Driven to contribute to a collaborative high-performing team environment
Comfortable working across a diverse caseload including both companion and large animals
