Job Summary
Job Description: System Administrator
Job Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain system software and hardware
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers networks and cloud infrastructure
- Create and maintain system documentation and reports
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operation of the organizations systems
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows Linux and UNIX
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMWare or Hyper-V
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in system administration
- Experience managing cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Certifications such as MCSE CCNA or CompTIA Network
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
- Experience in system automation and configuration management tools
Salary & Benefits:
Salary Range: $85000 - $98000 per year
