Job Summary
GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for welding gates posts and other fence
materials to spec.
REPORTS TO: Shop Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read and interpret drawings and work orders to determine welding
- Requirements
- Weld cut and assemble metal parts using various welding Using Mig Welder.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Monitor work progress and report any issues or delays promptly.
- Ability to operate a forklift as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
All roles are required to be on site at their assigned location daily to perform
their role.
- This position requires the ability to stand walk lift squat bend twist climb and reach above the shoulders on a regular basis.
- Position requires the ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis and use various shop equipment and tools (including but not limited to ladders carts pallet jacks etc.). Equipment must always be used in a safe manner.
- Shop teammates who are trained in use of the forklift drive the forklift as a primary/essential duty and/or are back-up forklift operators must have current training a valid drivers license and always use the equipment safely.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
