Job Summary
The Senior Data Scientist role presents a strategic opportunity to drive innovation and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position is pivotal in transforming complex data into actionable insights enabling smarter business strategies and enhancing customer experiences. By leveraging advanced analytics machine learning and AI technologies the successful candidate will contribute to the development of scalable solutions that align with our mission of delivering ethical efficient and personalized financial services.
This role is critical for enabling scalable analytics machine learning workflows and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with data scientists analysts and product teams to ensure data quality accessibility and reliability.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end development of machine learning models and data pipelines.
- Analyse large complex datasets to identify trends patterns and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with product engineering and business stakeholders to define data-driven strategies.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Communicate findings through compelling data storytelling and visualizations.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in data science and AI.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Mathematics Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in data science machine learning or a related field.
- Proficiency in PySpark/ Python and data visualization tools (Power BI).
- Experience with ML frameworks development and deployment.
- Strong understanding of statistical modelling A/B testing and predictive analytics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP).
- Familiarity with big data tools (e.g. Spark Hadoop)
- Domain expertise in banking or healthcare is a plus.
