Job Summary
Duxbury Middle School is seeking a highly qualified certified Science teacher to fill a leave of absence beginning immediately. The final length of the assignment is yet to be determined.
Requirements:
- Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in General Science (5-8)
- Bachelors Degree or higher from accredited college or university
- Experience with Illustrative Mathematics Program preferred
- Classroom management skills that support students social-emotional learning
- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
- Citizenship residency or work visa required
