Casa Brera a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International is currently recruiting for an INTERNSHIP in HR Generalist to join a team made of modern and authentic hospitality professionals in the newest luxury lifestyle hotel in Milan.

We are seeking a motivated and proactive intern to join our Human Resources department with a particular focus on communication and employee engagement activities support recruiting and payroll activities. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package particularly PowerPoint Outlook and Excel and will be involved in various projects including recognition and corporate well-being programs as well as activities involving the entire team.


This is a full-time position 5 days a week with 2 days off.
The start date is expected for December/January.

Working in a newly opened luxury lifestyle hotel is an incredible opportunity to gain strong expertise in hospitality and a great exposure to Marriott International EMEA leaders. What Youll Do:

  • Create and present slides for corporate events recognitions and engagement activities (e.g. Employee of the Month birthday celebrations internal corporate communications).
  • Support corporate engagement events/programs with the aim of increasing employee engagement.
  • Organize and support Marriott programs related to employee well-being and community engagement: plan activities and initiatives that promote active employee participation and strengthen the sense of belonging to the company.
  • Support the creation of visual materials for corporate well-being initiatives including health programs and other team-building activities.
  • Support internal communication regarding engagement and well-being initiatives keeping employees informed and involved.
  • Collaborate with other departments to organize corporate events and team engagement activities.
  • Support the management of the companys LinkedIn HR channel by posting content weekly.

Administrative Support for Talent & Training:

  • Assist the Talent & Training team in the recruitment process in particular of internship interview administrative management of internships.
  • Assist the Talent&Training team in managing training programs and preparing materials and reporting.
  • Support the Talent&Training team to archieve employee records.
  • Support the Talent&Training team in Employer branding activities (Contact with the schools visits for the students ecc).
  • Assist Talent and Training teams with various activities related to the onboarding process ( announcements for the new hire reset psw ecc prepare welcome kit).

Payroll Support:

  • Assist Payroll Manager to provide support in managing employee records ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll team to ensure that employee information is accurate and readily available for administrative processes.
  • Participate in other HR activities such as holidays planning documents drafting and signature
  • Support internal procedures of training recruitment development recognition involving Talent data management

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for creating visually appealing presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in human resources particularly in communication and engagement activities.
  • Proactive detail-oriented and able to work well in a team.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent level of the English and Italian languages
