Job Summary:

Provides leadership and management for the trauma service at the facility to assure optimal care for injured patients while meeting regulatory requirements from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the American College of Surgeons. Responsible for daily operations of the trauma program and the achievement of standards related to quality care patient satisfaction and fiscally responsible care delivery.
In this role the program manager will work closely with all levels of leadership including facility market and region to strategically develop and implement successful and growing trauma programs. The role also requires active participation in the facility and market outreach planning and implementation. The role shall also function as a key resource to our healthcare partners.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:

Education Requirement:

Masters degree required- MBA HMHA or MSN

Minimum Experience Requirement:

Five years of clinical experience in trauma emergency and/or critical care of three years of trauma program experience.

Two years of previous leadership experience (Charge Nurse ANM Clinical Coordinator or Nurse Manager role)

Experience with trauma registry and coding preferred

Project management or quality experience preferred

License/Certifications Requirement:

Valid RN license in state of employment active and unencumbered

BLS through American Heart Association

TNCC or ATCN required within 12 months of hire/transfer

TCRN required within 18 months of hire/transfer

36 hours of trauma related CE every three years required (Survey Cycle)

Physical Requirements
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
