Local: $2760/week
Travel: $3154/week
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Pediatric ICU Nurse Preceptorfor an exciting job in New York NY.
Responsibilities
Serve as a clinical preceptor for up to two new RNs during their orientation period.
Teach and reinforce advanced pediatric critical care protocols and clinical best practices.
Oversee and guide daily nursing care activities to promote patient safety and compliance.
Deliver real-time coaching feedback and performance assessments for orienting staff.
Collaborate with the Nurse Educator and leadership team to align training objectives.
Model professional behavior teamwork and compassionate patient advocacy.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
Active New York RN license in good standing.
Prior experience as a preceptor mentor or clinical educator strongly preferred.
Demonstrated excellence in critical thinking communication and leadership.
