Armstrongs R&D Project Number 54013 developed by three innovators evolved into ArmaFlex the worlds first flexible closed-cell elastomeric foam for equipment insulation. The Project & Specification Analyst plays a key role in driving commercial growth by identifying qualifying and tracking project opportunities across key vertical markets such as education healthcare and government. This role uses market intelligence platforms and CRM tools to position Armacell products early in the design phase and strengthen collaboration between Sales Marketing and channel partners.
This is a highly cross-functional role ideal for someone who is research-driven detail-oriented and motivated to influence commercial specifications and build early-stage demand.

Key Responsibilities
Source and qualify commercial construction projects to identify insulation and specification opportunities
Analyze market and project data to uncover trends and support long-term pipeline development
Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to drive pull-through specification and product alignment
Engage architects engineers contractors and distributors via calls email social platforms and virtual meetings
Maintain accurate up-to-date project data and reporting within the CRM platform (Salesforce preferred)
Build and manage project pipelines using construction databases bid portals and industry tools
Provide visibility of project status and opportunities across the Insulation business unit
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field preferred)
35 years of experience in sales marketing or customer-facing roles in construction building materials or manufacturing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
Ability to travel 34 times per year
Preferred
Familiarity with bid/spec and commercial construction processes
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and project specifications to identify product fit
CSI Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification or willingness to obtain
Understanding of construction documents and tactics to grow product share within specifications

The expected compensation range for this role is $55000.00 -$70000.00.
The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
