Job Summary
As a Logistics Analyst Final Mile Operations & Delivery Excellence you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the performance of last-mile delivery operations. This role balances tactical execution with judgment-based decision making ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while also contributing to the design and rollout of best practices that elevate customer experience and operational efficiency.
The analyst serves as a key link between delivery partners internal teams and leadership applying strong problem-solving skills data-driven insights and operational knowledge to optimize delivery outcomes. This is a remote position in the United States.
What you will do -
Operational Execution & Coordination
- Monitor and manage daily final mile delivery activities ensuring on-time complete and damage-free deliveries.
- Coordinate with carriers drivers and 3PL partners to resolve escalations service failures or exceptions in real time.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex or sensitive delivery issues applying sound judgment to drive resolution.
Delivery Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Identify delivery performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the design documentation and rollout of best practices for final mile operations.
- Track KPIs such as on-time delivery first-time success rate and customer satisfaction; analyze trends and propose process improvements.
Decision Making & Problem Solving
- Exercise independent judgment in handling operational challenges customer escalations and delivery exceptions.
- Prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment while ensuring alignment with customer and business priorities.
- Proactively flag risks propose solutions and contribute to contingency planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Logistics Managers Supply Chain Customer Success and Technology teams to align on service expectations.
- Provide feedback on system enhancements routing tools and process automation opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders ensuring delivery operations support broader business goals.
What you need -
Required -
- Bachelors degree 0 years of work experience or high school diploma 6 years of work experience in lieu of Bachelors degree
Preferred -
- Excel Power BI SAP - highly preferred
- JDE experience - preferred
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Operations or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Logistics or transportation experience
- Final mile delivery operations
- Proven ability to resolve complex logistics issues using independent judgment and data-driven insights.
- Experience in process design continuous improvement or SOP development.
- Process improvement orientation
$58700 - $106200 salary plus bonus eligible benefits. Individual pay is based on skills experience and other relevant factors.
