Join our growing faculty. The Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation seeks a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician for a full-time faculty position with interest and expertise in both inpatient and outpatient general physiatry. This position will have an expectation of clinical service commitment at the Yale New Haven Hospital region.
Primary Role:
Provide outpatient clinical care in a diverse general physiatry practice that includes musculoskeletal care neurorehabilitation spasticity management and opportunity to customize clinic and perform EMGs ultrasound Botox s phenol neurolysis or cryo-neurolysis (depending on interest and skill set).
Responsibilities:
Call coverage at Milford Hospital Inpatient rehabilitation unit (IRU) in Milford CT. Hospitalist is attending of record and physiatrist manages the rehabilitation aspects of the patient care Monday through Friday. Includes team meetings with PM&R Residents. No weekend inpatient call.
Perform inpatient consultation services at Yale New Haven Hospital in the region
