Tintern Grammar is seeking to appoint a VASS Coordinator and Attendance Officer to work within the Secondary school. The successful applicant will report to the VCE/VET Coordinator and Heads of Secondary School.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced Administrator with outstanding organisational and communication skills and a strong work ethic. To be successful in this role you must have the ability to manage and prioritise your workload within a busy environment.

About the Role

Tintern Grammar is seeking an experienced and organised VASS Coordinator / Attendance Officer to join our Secondary School. This key role is responsible for the accurate and timely management of VCE and VET data through the VASS system as well as the daily monitoring and follow up of secondary student attendance.

The position provides essential administrative support to the VCE/VET Coordinator Heads of School and Senior College staff contributing to the smooth operation of academic and attendance systems examinations and student reporting processes.

This is an ongoing Full-time position effective Term 1 2026.

About You

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator who thrives in a fast-paced school environment. You will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferably in an education setting.
  • Knowledge of VASS administration and VCE/VET processes is highly desirable
  • A strong work ethic and high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems (experience with Synergetic will be advantageous).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with staff students and families.
  • A professional and calm manner with a passion for supporting young people.
  • Professional presentation
  • Strong alignment with the school values and vision.
  • A current Working with Childrens Check (employee).
