Position Details
- Status: Casual (8 hours/week)
- Schedule: Evening shifts 4:00 PM 7:30 PM on weekdays and weekends required
- Location: Wilmington DE
What Youll Do
- Prepare and serve meals for patients and cafeteria guests with accuracy and attention to dietary needs
- Deliver meal trays and nourishments promptly ensuring excellent customer service
- Maintain food safety standards proper storage and sanitation procedures
- Operate dishwashing and food service equipment safely and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with patients nursing staff and team members
- Uphold ChristianaCares core values
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service experience preferred (6 months or more)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Commitment to safety cleanliness and infection control
Physical & Work Environment
- Must be able to lift push pull reach and stand for extended periods
- Exposure to infectious materials cleaning chemicals and temperature variations
- Must pass a physical exam and be drug-free

This position has a starting rate of $17.32 per hour regardless of prior experience. After six months of continuous employment the hourly rate will automatically increase to $20.34 per hour. After one year of continuous employment the hourly rate will automatically increase to $21.34 per hour.This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCares good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
