1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RCDS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification is required.
3. Proficiency in Cardiac Ultrasound with the ability to work independently is required.
4. Cardiac ultrasound experience with pulsed continuous wave and color flow doppler abilities is required as well as demonstrated knowledge of Cardiac Anatomy and Physiology.
5. Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia course is required. Successful completion of an Advanced Arrhythmia course is preferred.
6. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
