Were seeking for an experienced Bitumen Tanker Driver (Class 5) to join our great team in our Heavy Haulage Transport Department. Reporting out of the Operations Yard based out of Mount Wellington Auckland.

Your daily schedule will be return travelling from Auckland to the Tauranga Ports on a daily basis carrying back hot bitumen. Being an experienced Tanker Driver you will apply your knowledge of carrying dangerous goods and obliging to all NZTA driving rules and regulations to ensure a safe journey on our NZ roads.

In addition to the above you will:

Conducting a daily Vehicle Condition report and maintain a daily logbook
Provide traffic updates and delays back to your Coordinator and Supervisor
Follow job briefs and directed instructions to ensure timely delivery of products and services
Conduct appropriate pre-start checks and ongoing load checks
Comply with transport rules and regulations as well as with company H&S policies and procedure
Build and maintain relationships with our valuable stakeholder

Were looking for someone with:

Must hold a minimum Class 5 NZ drivers licence
Must have a minimum 3 years experience driving on a Class 5 licence
Prior experience in a similar role such as a Petrol Tanker driver will be considered
Must hold a Dangerous Goods Licence
Flexible to work AM PM and Graveyard shifts
