Skills and Experience

• Minimum 10 years experience in development infrastructure and master planning with a proven track record of delivering complex projects across EMEA.
• Skilled in strategic site selection multi-criteria assessments and applying design thinking to develop human-centric sustainable and commercially viable solutions.
• Strong grasp of ESG integration embedding sustainability and nature-based solutions into spatial master planning.
• Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills and the ability to create compelling design narratives and value propositions.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Experience in business development and bid preparation.
• Passionate about innovation with an interest in leveraging AI and generative design tools.
• Willingness to travel for projects and embrace diverse cultures and ways of working.

Purpose of the Role

As a Senior Master Planner youll play a pivotal role in delivering transformative master planning projects for industrial clients helping accelerate the transition to a low-carbon future. Youll lead bids manage complex assignments and communicate design vision and value with clarity and impact expanding Worleys presence in the Indian market.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead bids and manage complex master planning assignments ensuring successful delivery and client engagement.
• Develop area-wide strategic plans place-economics strategies and guide site selection using spatial analysis and multi-criteria frameworks.
• Lead the creation of concept and detailed master plans for industrial projects non-process infrastructure worker accommodations and commercial ports.
• Contribute to landscape strategies and plans that integrate nature-based solutions enhancing environmental performance and resilience.
• Mentor junior planners and architects fostering a culture of excellence and continuous growth.
• Support business development and bid preparation contributing to the growth of a world-class industrial master planning capability.
• Leverage AI and generative design tools to enhance master planning outcomes.
• Collaborate globally reporting to the Master Planning Practice Lead (London UK).
