Long Term Substitute Biology Teacher Position for High SchoolQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors DegreeClassroom or related experience with children ages 14MA DESE License preferred: High School BiologyCandidates must have excellent writing interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work with independence in dealing with the diverse elements of the academic TO: Director of Curriculum and Building Principal RESPONSIBILITIES:Employs a variety of teaching methods to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroomPrepares conducts and delivers motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect knowledge of the curriculum (MA Framework: HS Biology) child development and student abilitiesEncourages an inclusive classroom that accepts the different perspectives and backgrounds of the studentsUtilizes a variety of assessments and uses data in the classroom to monitor students progressThis position is scheduled to be available January 5 2026 through June 17 2026.
