Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of Learning Visual Arts this role will be responsible for teaching Visual Communication Design and Visual Arts subjects across Years 7 to 12 in a collaborative and progressive environment.

To be successful in this opportunity you will require:

Tertiary qualifications in Education.
Current VIT Registration.
A current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (Visual Communication Design) and/or IB Curriculum.
Previous experience teaching VCE Visual Communication Design.
Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.
Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.
Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.
