Join the Black Belt Community Foundations (BBCF) Head Start program and help shape young minds while supporting your local community. As a Substitute Teacher youll step into the classroom when needed to lead engaging lessons nurture curiosity and provide children with a safe and supportive learning environment.
Whether youre an experienced educator or just beginning your teaching journey this role offers flexibility purpose and the chance to impact lives - every time you step in.
What Youll Do:
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childrens growth in all developmental areas.
Create a welcoming inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Support childrens learning and well-being in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards.
Build positive relationships with families and help strengthen community connections.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with program guidelines.
What Were Looking For:
Associate or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Bachelors preferred).
At least 2 years of experience working with young children preferably in a Head Start or preschool setting.
A caring and patient approach with strong communication and classroom management skills.
Commitment to teamwork flexibility and professionalism.
