Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual seeking to make a real difference in patient care St. Alexius Medical Center guided by our mission and Journey Beyond Excellence philosophy is looking for aNurse Assistantto join our team!

In this essential role youll work closely with our nursing staff providing direct personalized care to patients on your assigned unit. Youll be instrumental in creating a supportive and healing environment ensuring patient comfort and well-being.

What Youll Do (A Glimpse into Your Role):

  • Direct Patient Care:Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene (bathing grooming) feeding ambulation and positioning.
  • Patient Monitoring:Take vital signs record weights and meticulously track intake/output promptly reporting any concerns to the assigned nurse.
  • Comfort & Safety:Respond to call lights maintain a clean and safe environment and ensure patient comfort.
  • Documentation:Accurately complete all necessary forms reports and records.
  • Compassionate Support:Foster a healing environment by providing physiological emotional psychological and spiritual support to patients and their families.

Job Requirements

What Youll Bring:

  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent (with strong reading writing and medical terminology comprehension).
  • Licensure:Must be listed on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Nurse Assistant Registry or be eligible for immediate placement following St. Alexius Medical Centers orientation and training.
  • Experience (Preferred):Previous hospital or aide experience or successful completion of a certification/training program.
