Job Summary
- Work based around the Shire of Cardinia
- Full time permanent position (Monday-Friday)
- Depot based in Dandenong South
About the Role
As a member of the brushcutting team you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across our various commercial sites or council-controlled roadsides and open spaces.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.
Hourly rates are above award and dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Role will include brushcutting some herbicide application and light horticulture work
- Operate various equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
- Ensure open spaces are maintained to a high standard.
- Assist with other groundskeeping tasks as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
About You
- Previous experience in landscaping gardening or a related field will be looked upon favourably.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions including heat cold rain and the sun.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid Manual Drivers Licence.
