Located in the greater Quakertown PA area Millennium is owned by the Bracalente Manufacturing Group (BMG) which was founded in 1950. BMG is an innovative leader in the production of precision machined parts and assemblies and is family owned and operated contract manufacturing solutions provider with a global footprint.
4 DAY WORK WEEK Monday to Thursday
Night Shift Hours 2:30pm 1:00am (10% Shift Differential)
Leadership & Supervision:
Oversee a team of machinists and operators ensuring tasks are completed on time.
Train and mentor team members on machining processes safety and best practices.
Assist with work assignments based on production schedules and individual skill levels.
Act as the main point of contact between management and second-shift employees.
Production & Operations:
Set up and operate CNC Swiss and Lathe machining centers as needed.
Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure production goals are met and Data Collection is completed daily.
Monitor work orders and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Quality Control
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
Promote adherence to quality standards and corrective action procedures.
Work with the quality control team to resolve any defects or inconsistencies.
Safety & Compliance
Support company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Conduct safety checks on machines and ensure PPE is used properly.
Report and address any safety concerns or incidents.
Communication & Reporting
Provide end-of-shift reports on production issues and equipment status.
Communicate with the first-shift team to ensure smooth transitions and workflow continuity.
Coordinate with Operations Team for machine repairs and upkeep.
