As an Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP or RN) at our hospital youll be focused detail-oriented empathetic with great communication registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in an endoscopy environment.

As an Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP or RN)you will:

• Work in a multi disaplinary team covering a varied patient caseload

• Use state-of-the-art technology equipment and facilities

• Supervise support and develop junior members of the team

• Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting

• Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based

• Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development

Shrewsbury hospital ranked as Good in the last CQC inspection is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms 3 operating theatres an endoscopy suite an Ambulatory Care Unit and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray Ultrasound MRI and CT facilities.

We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics ophthalmology cosmetic surgery and womens health but also undertake general surgery urology and interventions for chronic pain management.
