Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support Mission Systems Engineering activities. The successful candidate will be an innovative technically skilled problem solver who works effectively in a collaborative team-oriented environment. Location: Aurora Colorado

What You Will Do

• Perform detailed system calibrations and verification testing to ensure optimal performance accuracy and compliance with technical specifications and program requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop refine and maintain situational awareness products that improve information flow and operational coordination.
• Monitor interpret and implement new system requirements to ensure compliance with evolving customer and program objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing technical projects through the full engineering lifecycle from requirements definition through integration test and delivery.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams to meet schedules and performance objectives.
• Experience with systems engineering principles including requirements development verification/validation and risk management.
• Experience with systems integration mission planning and/or command and control architecture.
• Experience conveying technical information clearly to wide audiences.
• Experience with engineering development processes.
• Experience in organizational and time management.
• An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
