JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Full-Time NIGHTS
Registered Nurse candidates for the Emergency Room will have the following job responsibilities:
- Triage assess and treat patients of all ages
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
- Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually
- You will provide follow up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals
- You must coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital while being patient focused and safety aware at all times
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
RN-ER
Full-Time NIGHTS
Registered Nurse candidates for the Emergency Room must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- 1 year of Recent (within the last 2-3 years) Acute Care RN experience (looking for ED ICU PCU experience; If a candidate has paramedic experience in their background its a plus)
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course or TNCC Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
